	2001 Collegiate Shag Routine Benny Goodman's Sing Me A Swing Song

You can see Tony & Aurelie and Hop to the Beat Dance Studio students performing at local events. Come cheer us on! You can check our calendar to see where we will be performing next, and check below to find out more about who is performing.

Hop to the Beat has been invited to perform for many of the nearby dance societies including Connecticut Swing Dance Society, New York Swing Dance Society, Shoreline Swing, Hartford Country Dance, Hooked on Swing Society and Two Left Feet.

Hop to the Beat also provides performances by the Hop to the Beat Dancers.

Performance Classes

Most years since 1995 a performance class has been taught over two sessions in the Fall. Each year members of the class enthusiastically have chosen to continue with the group and participate in the many practices needed to get a routine up to performance quality. The classes have been a great way to concentrate on style and dance skills while working within a fun and supportive group.

2005/2006 Performance Class The 2005/2006 Lindy Hop routine was choreographed by Aurelie and Tony Tye with the Jazz section to Jimmy McCracklin's The Walk and the Lindy Hop section to The Big 18's Swingtime in the Rockies.
