It is exciting to have Steven Mitchell and Virginie
back once again. Steven is well-known for his incredible versatility,
creativity, energy and style. He has been a major influence
in the ever-changing world of Lindy Hop social dancing. Since
Steven is in such high demand by Lindy Hoppers worldwide, he
is rarely at his home in California. Besides his talents as
a dancer, teacher and choreographer, he is also a songwriter
and musician.
Virginie, dancing since age 3, trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz and
Ballroom. Originally from France, she now lives in San Francisco. She dances
with an energetic mix of grace, funk, sass and pizzazz! Steven and Virginie
have a special chemistry when they dance which is truly inspiring and leaves
Lindy Hoppers everywhere hungry for more.

SHOES & BAGS: Please be
sure to bring clean dry sneakers (smoother soles have less traction
and are better, allowing for easy turning) or soft-soled flat
dance shoes. (Please, no hard soled, or black rubber soled shoes
that leave marks.) Please change shoes on the entrance mat to
help prevent outside wet, salt and grit from getting on the wooden
floor. Please leave all bags and street shoes outside the gymnasium
so as to maximize the dance space.
SNACKS & DRINKS: You may
want to bring snacks for the breaks. Although there are nearby
places to get food, there is nothing close enough if time is
short. There are no vending machines in the buildings. Juice
and bottled water will be available for purchase.
To get notified about these or future workshops, please ask
to be added to our mailing list.
Class sizes will be limited, please pre-register
to ensure a spot.
